Exploring North Lake Tahoe – Day 1

Our latest adventure was a visit to North Lake Tahoe, just as beautiful as South Lake Tahoe, but it its own way. While here we explored some vacation lodging spots, spent some time at the beach, and enjoyed the overall beauty that North Lake Tahoe has to offer.

Our first stop was visiting the beautiful Incline Village. Full of beach access, restaurants, shops, and lodging options this is a must visit place just for the beauty itself. While at Incline Village we spent some time at the dock pictured above at Pier 111 Bar and enjoyed the scenery with a beautiful view of the Lake. Here you can choose to order some food, enjoy a drink, enjoy a boat ride, jump in the lake, or relax along the dock.

After a nice drink, and soaking in some sun we decided to head over to get lunch. We had lunch at Spindleshanks and enjoyed an amazing late lunch. We enjoyed the beauty of their outside dining patio as well. The meals were pretty good to say the least! If you are in an area definitely check this place out.

We could not end the day without seeing more BEACH, so we took a lovely scenic drive along the Lake to the next beach spot to watch the sunset. We stopped at Sand Harbor Beach. It was another lovely place in which anyone can stop to enjoy the day. Keep in mind that the beach area does fill up fast, and that there is a parking fee. We went in the evening while everyone was just ending their day out.  It was a beautiful day, so the weather was perfect as well.

Hotel

After this we finished up, we headed to the store, and to our hotel to snack and relax the day away. We booked out trip last minute and stayed at The Hampton Inn and Suites – Truckee-Lake Tahoe. Our stay was lovely given the price for the last minute booking. Right outside this hotel is a gas station and shop that was nice to have nearby.
